- -> You will never buy an OS significantly more sophisticated than
- -> Windows 3.1. This requirement you claim to have, directly
- -> contradicts a requirement everyone actually does have: stability.
-
- Be careful what you say here Warrl. As a person who HAS to use many
- different systems (AMIGA, MS-dos, Mac, etc) I have not found Windows to
- be very "Stable". Many times there have been "frozen" screens and
- "crashing" that has taken place with both MS-dos machines (running
- windows) and on Macs. The MOST stable OS I have ever used was on an
- AMIGA. It is a shame there was no advertising for that machine when
- Commodore owned it. Hopefully the new owners will do some advertising
- and bring that machine back (after they play around with strengthening
- their European markets). Heck, I may even buy one if the rumors are true
- about them developing a new Power-AMIGA (RISC based).
